Shweat Scoops Cat Litter

For years I’ve been using Scoop Away, and haven’t been pleased with it. While it says it’s non-tracking, my cats still track it all over the place. However, I’ve found a natural alternative that actually smells decent! It’s called Shweat Scoops, and, as its name implies, it’s made mainly out of wheat. All I can say is, “Wow!” Litter boxes will never be the same! I admit, I still use the traditional litter boxes, but if I had $300.00 to spend I just might purchase one of these! I’ve heard that the self-cleaning litter boxes don’t actually work very well, but this one (which I think is funny since it looks like a regular toilet) intrigues me. Why? Because it, according to the Petco site, “automatically flushes all cat waste out of the home then washes itself completely clean.” The only thing that I’m not too thrilled about is that you do, in fact, have to hook it up to the bathroom sink or the toilet. Is This Kitty Perch Worth the Money?

Each week I check out the latest products over at Petco.com, just to see if there’s anything that my kitties might like. Well, this week was a bit disappointing on that front, but I did manage to find a product that I know I wouldn’t actually spend $119.00 on! It’s called the Petco Level 4 Kitty Tower and it’s basically a bunch of plywood nailed together with some bits of carpet! If you’re into building things, you could probably make one from scratch that is just as good, and for far less money. It also isn’t the most attractive tower I’ve seen either. However, I’ll leave this one up for debate amongst all you kitty parents out there!
