Indoor Water Fountains for your Kitty

by

fountain.jpgI have an indoor water fountain that I got at walmart for my cats.  The one pictured is the last one I had, which I had gotten from a drugstore.  I quit using this one because the coating on everything began to peel and I didn’t want that in their water.

I keep the fountain on my kitchen table and they just LOVE it!  I have to fill it up every day and wash it out once a week, because they drink it so fast and we have weird water here…

You can get ‘official’ drinking fountain-type products from places like petsmart, etc…. but I tend to really like the little one I got from walmart.

If you get one, make sure it’s big enough… sturdy… so they don’t knock it over.   And make sure it’s made from something that won’t leach stuff into the water and make them sick.

My mother got me a REALLY nice, REALLY expensive fountain from lowe’s, but it was made out of this weird pottery stuff and it made me uncomfortable about letting the cats drink from it.  Glass, plastic, something that just won’t peel or leach into the water.

Try it, your cats will LOVE LOVE LOVE you for it!  :-D
