Smoking and Your Indoor Cats

I have found out that smoking inside when you have cats is a very bad thing.  I mean, you know the secondhand smoke isn’t good for people or animals, but the thing with cats is this - they lick themselves constantly, cleaning and grooming. 

The smoke residue gets on their fur and they ingest it. 

Diseases such as pancreatitis and lymphoma are a couple of issues that can develop from this. 

 Just a heads up to you good folks who smoke (as I do), that you might want to go on and take it outside for the benefit of the other folks in your house AND your critters!
